April - June 2024 | HIV Cases in the Philippines 5,321 cases of HIV were recorded in the second quarter of this year. The highest number of cases was among individuals aged 25-34, with 2,514 cases, followed by 1,725 cases among those aged 15-24. According to the data, 4,463 People Living with HIV (PLHIV) underwent Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) during the said months. Moreover, there were 308 reported deaths, bringing the total number of reported deaths to 7,859 from January 1984 to June 2024.
