The best thing you can do for yourself is actively increase your surface area for luck to hit you. Go outside, travel more, go to new cates, museums, events, take a new route home, go for hikes, see cities, countrysides, take your notebook, speak to people, ask questions, start businesses - go on more side quests. You can literally just do things, and the more you do, the more serendipity and synchronicity will find you.

Yes, Friday saw the S&P 500 fall 2.6%, which is the worst day of the year so far.

Good time to remember that even the best years have bad a day or two (or more).

22 times the S&P 500 gained more than 20% for the year and the average worst day was 3.5%. In fact, there was a day in 1997 it fell nearly 7% and still gained more than 30% for the year.

This bull market just passed the 3.6 year bull market of '62-'66 for the 8th longest since WWII.

What matters here is how long those other bull markets that made it this far lasted. The other seven lasted an average of more than 7 total years.

Here's the thing, after previous big gains (>10%), June has never been lower and the rest of the year added 18.6% on average.
