I’ve just returned from the Trinity, Tunbridge Wells, where I went to see “@TheSimonEvans and friends.” As usual, Simon was bend-forward funny, alternating with head-back hilarity, always right on the money with comments about life and events that make you wonder how he distills it into such a flowing set. Can you tell I’m a fan yet?!
@latimeralder@mentalmal1 Don’t hold your breath! They’re not interested in evidence, just scaremongering propaganda. People hate to admit they’ve been duped, especially when they cannot prove otherwise. King’s New Clothes, money-making version.
@Alheri@VictoriaCoren You have made a rod for your own backs with constant fashion shows, ridiculous designs and the need to outdo one another. Just stop and the problem goes away. See how stupid men look when they try to adopt your apparent need for constant change - Sam Smith will never set trends.
@TheSimonEvans A great evening, with Simon’s great mix of personal revelations, surprisingly moving moments, mixed with gasp-out-loud laughs - highly recommend!
A great evening at the Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells, at @TheSimonEvans latest show, “Have We Met?”
Although the premise is the likelihood of failing memory in later years, the show is Simon’s mix of thought-provoking opinions and the onset of gasping with laughter. Brilliant!
@jamesmartinchef Very sad news indeed, a really great performer and comedy genius, first to last. Sandy Stone was a delight, in addition to his better known personas. An original risk-taker, greatly missed. RIP, Barry.
@DanielH_LUFC@Baskerville448 Off the clock? Completely out of their minds, need dealing with swiftly, but senior ranks still awaiting a spine donor nowadays.
