Some numbers do not merely speak; they ask uncomfortable questions.

At the time of Statehood in 1972, Kangpokpi had 193 villages, while Ukhrul had 93 villages. By 2023, Kangpokpi’s village count had risen to 713, marking an increase of 520 villages. In contrast, Ukhrul’s villages increased only from 93 to 112, an addition of just 19 villages over the same 51-year period.

A similar pattern is seen in Churachandpur. In 1972, the district had 339 villages. By 2023, this number had grown to 874 villages, an increase of 535 villages. During the same period, Senapati’s village count rose only from 129 to 166, an increase of just 37 villages. Even after accounting for unidentified or unverified settlements, 27 in Churachandpur and 43 in Senapati, the disparity remains too striking to ignore.

The question, therefore, is simple but significant: what factors led to such a sharp proliferation of new settlements in Kangpokpi and Churachandpur, while districts such as Ukhrul and Senapati remained comparatively stable over the same 51-year period? ( Let’s be serious about this, it’s the question of our future generations)🙏

This is not about targeting or blaming any community. It is about understanding demographic changes with honesty, examining the forces that shaped these patterns, and safeguarding the long-term interests of Manipur and the nation. ( It’s an official and satellite recorded status, let’s discuss positively) 🙏

The fact remains: they first held six Naga individuals hostage, and their fate remains uncertain to this day. Yet, their propagandists conveniently ignore this reality and are now demanding the release of 14 Kuki hostages who were reportedly taken in retaliation for those six hostages.

This selective narrative is the hallmark of propaganda, highlighting one side of the story while deliberately suppressing the other. Before demanding answers about the 14, they must first explain what happened to the original six. Truth cannot be built on half-facts and convenient omissions.

THIS IS VERY INTERESTING:

KNF(P) leader Mr. Thangboi, also known as “Tiger”, is reportedly wanted by the NIA for investigation in connection with the recent ambush and kidnapping of 18 Liangmai pastors and civilians, out of which 6 are still missing.

Interestingly, since last evening there has been going viral in social media that local people allegedly mobilized by Tiger resisted the NIA team from reaching him.

Now the serious question is: KNF(P) is headed by Chairman SS Thangboi Kipgen who is the husband of our Hon’ble Dy. Chief Minister of Manipur and is under a Suspension of Operations (SoO) agreement with the Government. As per the agreement, its cadres are supposed to remain within designated camps and cooperate with the law of the land.

If so, couldn’t Mr. Thangboi @ Tiger simply be summoned to appear before a police station or NIA office at a specified time and place for questioning?

Isn’t Mr. Thangboi @ Tiger accountable to the law of the land, especially as a signatory/member of a group claiming to be law-abiding under the SoO agreement? Or he is free to remain underground or in hiding as and when necessary and still enjoy the stipend of Rs 6000/- provided by the same govt. who wanted him under NIA today?

High time @manipur_police should travel to Shillong and arrest members of @kso_shillong for deliberately spreading fake news to fuel communal violence.

Arambai Tengol members were on a "mission" to build a temple in honour of Chingkhei Ningthou in the Yorbung hill range in Imphal East District Chingkhei Ningthou.

A video was posted by one Punshiba Angomcha stating of a "mission" which they will reveal to the public in few days time. This video been twisted by @kso_shillong in the most bizarre way to put the blame on Meiteis and Tangkhuls for the brutal killing of Thadou pastors just because the word "mission" was used. Is it a case of being just plain stupid or being extraneously evil?

Punshiba Angomcha has now posted another video (check attached video) to reveal what was the "mission" calling out the Kuki thibaikons' lies. The "mission" was a temple being constructed to honour Chingkhei Ningthou.

It's a clear case of "there's a speck in your beard, thief"! Only Kukis have been killing Thadous who don't accept the Kuki nomenclature. The Thadou pastors were such to hold passionately to their Thadou identity and vehemently stood against Kuki nomenclature.

The biggest insult to Rev V Sitlhou.

Just 5 days before his brutal murder, the Rev rejected the Kuki supremacist ideology and stood firm for his Thadou identity.

Yet, at this death, the Kuki supremacist are robbing him of his identity; and the very cause and principle he fought and died for.

They don't spare even the death, like they always do.

Looks like shame isn't there in the DNA of these Kuki supremacist groups.

During our interaction, Rev Silthou advocated for peace in Manipur and rejected any idea of division of Manipur.

Yet the Kuki groups are exploiting his death, a man they claim to rever and love, but do exactly the opposite of what he firmly opposed. It can't get more humiliating than this.

This is a murder of the ideology and the principle he stood for.

Yesterday’s heinous terrorist attacks have now increasingly pointed towards the involvement of Kuki Narco-Terrorist and Kuki Supremacist groups. Disturbing WhatsApp conversations that have surfaced reveal that Rev. Vumthang had clearly and firmly opposed the imposition of a forced Kuki identity upon him and stood by his convictions despite immense pressure.

The unauthorized inclusion of his name in Kuki programmes without his consent, followed by his brutal killing after refusing to submit, raises grave and disturbing questions. This appears to be nothing less than a horrifying case of violent coercion and forced assimilation carried out by extremist supremacist elements seeking to silence every dissenting voice within their own fold.

Such acts expose the dangerous intolerance and authoritarian mindset of those attempting to impose identity through fear, intimidation, and bloodshed. The truth must not be buried under propaganda, and those responsible for this barbaric act must be identified and brought to justice without delay.

*Rev. Vumthang Sitlhou,* a man of peace, a Thadou Baptist leader, a mediator between warring communities was ambushed and butchered on Tiger Road, Kangpokpi. *With him fell Rev. Kaigoulun Lhouvum and Pastor Paogoulen Sitlhou.*

*Their crime? Refusing to bow to Kuki supremacy.*

*THE SMOKING GUN: AN SMS THAT SEALED HIS DEATH*
Just five days before the massacre, on Friday, May 8, 2026, Rev. Sitlhou received a message from a concerned Thadou brother:

_"I have seen your name appearing in the Kuki program in Thadou areas… I am Thadou and not Kuki… we need to maintain our identity as Thadou."_

Rev. Sitlhou’s reply his last recorded words was clear and defiant:

_"Yes, Sir. I have not given my approval."_

Let that sink in. He did not approve. He blocked a Kuki flag-raising ceremony scheduled for the next day, Saturday, May 9. And what happened”.

Ironically, many Kuki groups still tried to imposed Kuki identity to the departed soul even after killing him and deceiving to project it other wise. This level of trecherous and deceiving attitude of Kuki hegemony must not be tolerated any fight against with all native Manipuri people combined.
