@RetireonDividen I retired at 55. Moved and downsized with no mortgage or debt. Depends on how attached you are to your house and location. That extra money would be better off being invested then.

Floating axles (specifically full-floating axles) sit in gear oil, which flows from the differential housing to bathe the wheel bearings. However, when installing new bearings, mechanics often apply a light coat of grease or assembly lube to the bearings for initial lubrication. Once the vehicle is driven and the axle warms up, the gear oil takes over to provide constant lubrication
