@bobpockrass Most likely the middle tire is hooked to an encoder and brake/motor. They probably slowly add more resistance to the tire until it starts to slip which gives them the friction cooeffienct of the known rubber tire versus the surface.
@markmartin In the northeast, the purse for super late models hasn’t moved in many years but the price for tires/fuel/pit entry/parts goes up nearly every year. The potential winnings versus cost to simply race let alone if you tear anything up is killing car counts.
@JoeSimpson928@Belche19751@KyleBusch Never been a KB fan. But that was a joke they even went green in the first place. 2nd time NHMS has done this when junked a pile of Indy cars many years back. Also, can’t go to a backup if you don’t bring one, let alone 2 for the team.
@ARCA_Racing They keep making this series worse and worse, bring this back to the northeast to its Busch North roots and you might get more then 6 competive cars and 12 total.
