Hanging out with HaHS Environmental Team at our annual Green Fest. So many future Golden Bears. Such much fun.
Come out today. So many fun things for the kids.
These 3 did an amazing job tonight giving a wonderful presentation of what it means to be a Golden Bear. Outstanding job as you shared our vision and core values, while giving our Superintendent and our Board Members a small taste of all the great things going on at HaHS. BRAVO!
Congratulations to the newest members of the Hammond High School Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor society). I am so proud of you and appreciate your hard-work and leadership. Continue to lead to BE the example. You all are amazing.
First opened in 1976, when completed this year, the expansive @hcpss_hahs renovation & addition project will add capacity for an additional 200 students. This renovation helps further our efforts to create the best teaching and learning environment for all students and educators.
This will NEVER get old. In 2016, 100-year-old Ida Keeling set a world record for the FASTEST 100-meter dash time — 1 minutes & 17 seconds — by a woman over 80 yrs old at the Penn Relays! Breaking records at age 100 should be the definition of inspiring! Rest In Power, Ida!
Such a great night at the Hammond Dancing with the Staff. I had so much fun. Shoutout to all the dancers and their staff partners for an outstanding show. Special thanks to my partner and her amazing choreography.
That part…
It starts now high schoolers. You don’t just go to college and snap your fingers. Bad habits are hard to break. Walk in your greatness right now.
KIRBY SMART ON BEING GREAT
"There's one way. The right way. The hard way. There are no shortcuts.
At 7:30 when the alarm goes off ... if you wanna be a really good player, you're gonna get up and go to class.
You've gotta do something that somebody else isn't willing to do."
Controlling the glass throughout, Hammond girls basketball pulled away late in its 46-36 victory over Oakland Mills on Friday night. @hcpss_hahs@hcpss_omhs https://t.co/AIXViP1s4S
