We will be changing Monday, January 9 from a regular school day to a Professional Development (PD) Day. Students will have this day added to the end of the Christmas Holidays and will not come to school that day.

Junior/Senior Choir and Grade 3 students are proud to present "Here Comes the Snow", a winter concert on Tuesday, December 20 in the RES gym at 6:30pm. Doors open at 5:45pm and it will be rush seating. Tickets will be required.

It's Book Fair Time! It will be taking place Oct 17-21. Students and parents will be able to attend the Book Fair and purchase books during their regularly scheduled library classes.  Parents may also purchase online using the link on the website.

Celebrate International Literacy Day with RES Council over the summer by reading 500 minutes. Please keep track on the reading chart and bring it back with you to the BBQ to receive a prize!

We are excited to announce Mrs. Angela Leavitt as an additional Vice Principal at Raymond Elementary School to work alongside the current administration, beginning September 2022. Angela is currently teaching grade one in Raymond.

In keeping with RES tradition, we will be hosting a spring movement challenge. This year the kids can keep track of any time they spend moving. Walking, running, biking, soccer, baseball, or any type of movement they enjoy.

This year we will be holding our literacy event in December instead of March. We are taking advantage of the Christmas season to bring some holiday fun and literacy into the school and homes of RES students. We are excited to be hosting a short Christmas Around the World.

This week RES is recognizing “Rock Your Mocs” week, Friday feel free to wear your moccasins to show your cultural pride and support of tribal unity and individuality. If you do not own a pair, you can wear a blu turquoise ribbon which will be made available for you on Friday.
