Many moons ago during car rides, we weren’t allowed to say we were bored.

We had no phones or iPads.

The radio was always on AM talk radio.

We could only read during the day time. We weren’t allowed to turn on any light in the car at night, because we were 100% sure it was illegal, and we would be pulled over and arrested.

And, when it rained we entertained ourselves by following rain drops on the window and see which one would win their imaginary race.
