26th February, 1991
7 Fusiliers from 3rd Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and 2 Privates from The Queen's Own Highlanders, were tragically killed in Southern Iraq by an American A10 Warthog aircraft which fired on their vehicles

From helping save London from the Great Fire in 1666, to playing a key part at the Battle of Waterloo, the regiment boasts an impressive 113 Battle Honours, 13 Victoria Crosses and a George Cross.
Today, the regiment returned to Berwick-upon-Tweed, to celebrate its magnificent history.
