So a mother of an autistic son offers her kidney to William after the trust oppose his transplant. The fight. The generosity. And the intense love. @BBCBreakfast
As a therapist, your job is not to push an agenda on patients, create converts to your worldview, persuade, dissuade, approve, disapprove, affirm or disaffirm.
It's to help them know themselves more fully & so become more whole & live life more freely—on their terms, not yours.
This is for the care of someone who has been locked away in psych hospitals for many, many years, much of it in long term segregation, and who deserves the very best. We can’t name him outright on here, but….he’s been in the news a lot.
Please share. He needs to come home now.

Important thread on the saving of a life of a young man with #autism. William Verden has a rare #KidneyDisease but health officials say he shouldn’t be offered a #Transplant. His mum Amy is appealing for #Donors to come forward and save her son's life. 👇
My knowledge about William Verden's situation has come from:
1) media reports late last year
2) additional reports by @JayneMcCubbinTV
3) information from @irwinmitchell here https://t.co/129dTqDc8s and
4) Mrs Justice Arbuthnot's ruling from 8 Feb https://t.co/vbDTphD1Cv

Killing innocent civilians with bombs and missiles is practically and visually very different to killing them with lockdowns and injections.
But ethically there’s no difference.
Why is it that so many people who supported one method of mass-murder now condemn a different one?
Another SECRET hearing.
Is it in best interests of 17-yr-old to have kidney transplant?
