brooooo music was always meant to be play.

all the tools that were supposed to "liberate" us as musicians and artists somehow ended up needing us to become engineers, technicians, project managers.

while we struggled with the overwhelm of all the DAWs –ableton, logic, cubase – tools that forced us to think in timelines and grids and killed our initial bursts of inspiration, we waited.

for years, we thought someone would build us a playground for musical creativity and organization. but no one did. everyone just kept rebuilding the DAW over and over again. just with different flavours of complex, overwhelming, bloated.

so we decided to build it ourselves.

@an5rag and I are building the platform we've wanted ever since we found ourselves with basic tech – a laptop, a smartphone, an instrument – ever since we started throwing melodies & chords into voice memos, typing odd word-combos into notes, messing around with garageband, sharing demos with friends & bandmates on whatsapp

the goal with @riffledotstudio is to build the modern OS for music creation and management. the entry point is an infinite, collaborative canvas – a playground meant for all your messy & magical ideas, sketches, riffs, all of that.

one source of truth to rule them all – to share & collaborate on with your bandmates, your manager, your visual artist.
