This is the Bulawayo–Victoria Falls Road. It looks like a road that has been bombed, yet it links Zimbabwe’s second biggest city to its premier tourist resort, Victoria Falls.

This is a direct result of the historic looting of public funds over the last seven years.

Nobody ever imagined that we would have such a terrible government, one that fails to understand the importance of maintaining such a critical road for Zimbabwe’s tourist economy.

When this part of the road was shared on social media in a still picture, the regime called it a lie. How is it a lie now?
