Still one of the coolest projects I’ve ever been involved in. Just look at it! It’s stunning. From my collab with @HeadcrashHotel

Hey everyone. Sorry for the silence recently. I feel like I owe everyone who has followed my journey with art and NFTs an explanation...
I have been going through a bunch of personal issues this year with mental health struggles which I have always been open about sharing and discussing, even if I go quiet while I'm in the middle of the storm. I have also been experiencing some pain in my hands from years of cutting stencils catching up to me. I am trying to see a specialist to see if it's something long term or if I can strengthen my hands to get back to stencil cutting form again soon.
I haven't had a proper studio I can work from and paint in for over a year now and the inability to create the way I have been used to for so many years has been very difficult emotionally, challenging creatively and damaging mentally.
I have tried multiple times to get things on track and bring in people to help and this hasn't worked out for one reason or another and caused different kinds of setbacks.
The NFT market has been down since I launched Reflections and despite my attempts to launch Headcrash Hotel and NOIR, things still haven't picked up. I have come close to launching with Palm and XRP and I have struggled to speak to DC to get legal approval for Between the Capes.
There is an entire Batman X Superman collection ready, a Skullerfly collection ready to animate, a brand new Reflections girl ready but timing and partnerships haven't worked out to release one of them yet.
I have had two gallery shows for my art since Reflections launched and despite creating a lot of new works that I was very proud of for my NYC show last June, the art market wasn't in a good place and sales didn't reflect the effort I put in and that has continued through to 2023 with the art market being down.
I haven't just sat around and twiddled my thumbs, I've designed and curated multiple collections but I haven't been able to get them off the ground yet.
Aside from creating new NFT collections, I have been designing and developing a new social networking platform with a close friend which I will begin beta testing over the winter which will be huge for the creative industry. I wrote and edited my first novel which is being proofread before publishing which was a massive undertaking and haven't been able to show anyone yet. @artisthecure has been going through a rebuild behind the scenes and I will be relaunching that in the coming months with over 1,000 new products which all profits from will go towards supporting and raising awareness for mental health.
I was also recently given notice that my apartment I have been in for 6 years needs to be vacated for cladding works so my time in London is also coming to an end and my life and studio are currently in boxes and storage.
Some good news now...
I am having very positive talks with new NFT partners, investors for the social network project and getting positive feedback on the book and @artisthecure project as well as finding a new print supplier who can do my foil prints as big as 150cm so expect some new exclusive releases of some of my favourite prints in supersize soon.
As tumultuous as this year has been for me personally with creative, personal and health struggles, I continue to work hard in my little bubble to create projects of substance, integrity, quality and inspiration for everyone.
I know I have been quiet and not communicated a lot of this until now but that is down to trying to respect the process and the ups and downs and not burden others with the darker side of being an artist and running multiple businesses and projects. It is expensive financially and emotionally to spread myself across different things whilst having one arm tied behind my back with the lack of a studio.
I am doing my best to catch up with all print orders before I move and look forward to a clean slate in a new place with new surroundings and new people very soon. There will hopefully be a lot of positive announcements and news in September and I look forward to showing you everything I have been working hard on from the shadows.
To anyone who has lost faith or doubted me this year, I am sorry. I needed to take a couple of steps back after being knocked down and winded from the creative and career blows over the last year which have taken a toll to replan my route forwards. Two steps back to go five steps forwards. I am still pushing to make everyone proud and get all of this work released in the best way possible without rushing it and seeing it fail because it was released without permission, in the wrong climate and with the wrong people.
To the people who continue to support me and believe in me, thank you. Life is a journey and it has its ups and downs and I have always come through the other side and proved people wrong and I will do it again.
Instead of going to university at 18 years old, I said I was going to teach myself art and business and I taught myself and created my first business at 19 and formed @artisthecure when I was 22. I told people I would go on and exhibit my art in London galleries and at 25 years old I did. I raised the bar again and said I would get a show in New York one day and three years later I had my first solo show in NYC. I said I was going to launch an NFT collection and we sold out Reflections in under an hour. Everything I have set my mind to, I have achieved, despite the odds being stacked against me at almost every turn.
I am going to get through this difficult year and come back stronger, release new art, build things that will change the world and inspire more people through art than any artist alive in one way or another.
Thank you for your patience and I hope we can continue this journey together very soon.

As some of you may have seen, I painted a giraffe recently. We are now accepting applications from other artists to paint one and join the herd and have them displayed in Croydon in 2023!

Superhero’s don’t get paid a wage… so would they accept endorsements from brands to be able to do their hero thing & then afford rent & food when they go home? Would it matter if Captain America wore @LouisVuitton to save the day or would it take something away from the heroism?
