NBA can play this up like a book series space opera. Humanity vs Alien. Humanity won in first book, Alien learns and comes back for round 2. Seems like Wemby is the villain now, everyone hates him but ratings loved this Finals which means NBA loved these finals.

It will take some time not to react to the hate that Wemby and the Spurs are receiving. They did great this year, were project to barely make play-in. Took “…best teams ever..” down to the wire in each game. Are they young, dumb, and arrogant? Fuck yeah. They will grow in time.

It’s the highest-rated Game 2 since the 2018 Cavs-Warriors series.
