Great kick off to the Family Room tonight, partnering with @LCPS_FACE to share information on PBIS and Social Emotional Learning with our families in English, Spanish, and Arabic!
Good morning friends, it’s a good day to slow down, be still and listen...listen to the sounds of nature, of laughter & perhaps the sound of the encouraging voice inside you that at times is difficult to discern among all the noise 👍🏻😊#TuesdayThoughts#bfc530#lcps21
@bflokate @SaraKAhmed I’m switching from middle school to 3&5 and I was wondering about Seedfolks for 5th grade. I loved it during Distance Learning.
It’s interesting to me that Mississippi was able to ensure that ALL of their educators were trained in the Science of Reading, beginning in 2013 and have shown growth since that time. I just don’t GET why MORE states haven’t adopted this train of thought?
@D_Bauer12 @BAM_MS_Official I’m right there with you. So many silver linings to COVID-19. This is one of my favorites. Plus we get to build out our digital video content. #exciting#learningtransfer
@ShenaIBlcps What I like about your board is the MTSS structure and the equity lenses. I think you do that so well. And I admire your leadership in these areas. Big Heart and virtual hugs.
Heading out to get milk, but I needed a pick me up, too. So I’ll be dropping these off at the local food bank. If you’re cleaning out your closets and find these or other fem hygiene products, let’s make care packages for others in need. #Leesburg#generosity#sourcesofstrength
@MsPinkBehavior@AnnaOz249 I can quickly organize a mass of “green educators” and do way more than the click and watch and quiz. Many of us am/are/is/was/were lifeguards... IJS
@abbygail1647 @lpdeal I like these ideas! I try to do something small that is “creative”. I have a thing I call “rage coloring”. Like color outside the lines on purpose... it almost always works. Also dribbling a basketball. Everytime!
Everyones experience with COVID-19 is different. Kids will return to in-person or remote school with truly unique needs. Now more than ever, teachers need to be empowered with instructional models that allow them to personalize to students’ academic and social-emotional needs.
