Literally the two most stupidest arguments against this. If you only made $6,920/year, you’re not surviving today on your own. 2nd, unemployment income is capped at $450/wk & paid at 50% of prior earnings. To file for UI, you must have made $7,000/year and would receive a $134 weekly benefit. If you are not taxed on tips, you can easily replace these meager amounts.
