Since taking over $CATE, I’ve been trying to think of ways to integrate it with $ANSEM in some way.

Given I don’t have supply control and there are no fees on the coin, that’s been pretty tricky.

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized I can’t ignore how I got here in the first place.

For those who don’t know, I ran the OG Ansem coin for about 3 weeks before Ansem ultimately decided to back the coin he has ~60% of today.

When he made that decision, he could’ve left the OG community behind.

He didn’t.

He airdropped the OG community, and I received around $30k worth of $ANSEM at the time.

I believed in Ansem, I believed in the power of his brand, and I never sold.

I publicly held that $30k on @fomo all the way to ~$1.7M and back down to ~$600k. I still haven’t sold and have no real plans to.

That ride is a huge part of how I built my initial following on @fomo, and ultimately part of what put me in the position to take over $CATE and build what we’re building today.

So I’m going to return the favor.

Today I’m airdropping Ansem $30k worth of $CATE.

I genuinely don’t care what he does with it. He can sell it, airdrop it to his holders, or hold it to 7 figures.

I’m not doing this expecting a post, support, or anything in return. It’s simply a token of appreciation for something that played a massive role in getting me where I am today.

He airdropped me $30k and I held it to 7 figures.

Now $CATE is sitting near the bottom, so it feels like the perfect time for me to airdrop him $30k and run it up to 7 figures.

Showed 2 people at my office $CATE today.

Neither of them trades memecoins. Neither had any idea I was involved.

They both instantly understood it without any explanation:

“Oh, CATE… like DOGE but a cat?”

I showed them how they could buy it with Apple Pay and both immediately bought $1,000 worth.

They’ll probably not look at their wallets again for weeks. They definitely won’t be staring at new pairs all day chasing the next liquidity-suck daily runner.

When they’re up 100%, I’ll tell them to check their wallets.

My guess? When they see it, they’ll probably tell their friends.

That’s the thesis.

Simple meme. Instantly recognizable. Easy to buy. Holders from outside the trenches who aren’t constantly looking for the next shiny object.

These are the holders we want if we actually want to bring back the game we loved.
