Do you live in England, have a child ages 11-17 with a dual diagnosis of autism and deafness if so, please complete this survey. It aims to look at if ‘deaf children receive a later diagnosis of autism & what factors lead to these delays or inequalities’. https://t.co/rBqNxI3D3f
Hello! I'm Kate, Kate Rowley. I'm Patrick, Patrick Rosenburg. We are researchers @DCAL_UCL & we're interested in research language comprehension in deaf children, particularly BSL comp. skills & how this relates to English reading skills. We need 300 deaf kids aged 4-18.

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Leeds. I am looking to recruit participants to take part in my research of ‘deaf children who may receive a later diagnosis of autism and look at what factors lead to this delay or inequality’ https://t.co/rBqNxI3D3f
When I talk to teenagers in prison they can tell me exactly at what points things got worse for them and what/who could have helped. Many times it’s at primary school. Sometimes before. The social & economic costs of ignoring kids who need help just get bigger as time goes on.
