🏦 Once the GIP Railway’s treasury, it stored daily earnings from city stations.

🔐 Guarded by a twin-key iron door, cash trunks were lowered via a 4x4ft hoist (hand-cranked till ’67, then electric), with even a funnel to pour coins!

💰 For nearly a century, it handled some of Asia’s busiest railway revenues before shutting in the 2000s.

The Čiernohronská železnica (Čierny Hron Railway) narrow gauge heritage forest railway in Čierny Balog, Slovakia passes through a stadium.

Trains (including vintage/steam ones in tourist season) pass by even during matches, momentarily blocking view from the stands.

The railway was built in 1908-1909, opened for wood transport. Passenger traffic was later allowed. It stopped in 1982, and was restored in 1992 as a heritage line.
