After four years of house prices doubling (and in some areas, tripling) many young people feel priced out of the American Dream of homeownership. A welfare fraud scandal in Minnesota reveals that large numbers of new arrivals aren't assimilating and are funneling our tax dollars to literal terrorist groups. An innocent woman was set on fire in Chicago as the mayor resists federal law enforcement resources to bring peace to one of our great cities. The Obamacare insurance system is buckling under its own weight. And the country is $38 trillion in debt.

Our administration is working hard on addressing all of these problems.

But you know what really fires up the beltway GOP? Not any of the above. Instead, the political class is really angry that the Trump administration may finally bring a four year conflict in Eastern Europe to a close.

I'm not even talking about the substance of their views. Much of what these people have said about the Ukraine war has been proven wrong, but whatever. We can agree to disagree.

But the level of passion over this one issue when your own country has serious problems is bonkers.

It disgusts me. Show some passion for your own country.

I’ll be honest, President Trump is not a perfect man. But I didn’t vote for him to be perfect. I voted for him because he was the perfect person to save this country.

We will never have a president where you agree with every single thing they do or say. A president is a human being, and humans are not perfect.

But let’s be real, in just one year back in office Trump has done more to fix this country than the last guy did in four years.
He took America back from a party that stole 2020 and turned this nation upside down.

And people forget this part. He literally put his life on the line for this country. He would do anything to save America, and I’ll never forget that.

Because at the end of the day Trump is fighting to get this country across the finish line.

Just so we are all clear about what Senator Slotkin, Senator Kelly, and their democratic colleagues did…

They told servicemembers the President is a domestic enemy…

“The threats to our Constitution aren’t just coming from abroad. But from right here at home.”

They’re explicitly framing the duly elected President of the United States as equivalent to foreign adversaries.

They incited insubordination… repeatedly..

“You can refuse illegal orders.”
“You MUST refuse illegal orders.”

Who decides what’s “illegal”? Not the chain of command… apparently, junior enlisted should now take their cues from Democrat senators.

They promised political protection for mutiny…

“Know that we have your back.”

This is the playbook… Incite. Protect. Repeat.

They invoked military imagery to cast the President as the enemy..

“Don’t give up the ship”… a Navy battle cry… now weaponized against the Commander-in-Chief.

The Constitution is clear.. Article II vests command authority in the President ALONE. Congress has remedies… impeachment, legislation, appropriations. What they DON’T have is the authority to build a shadow command structure encouraging military resistance.

They undermined civilian control of the military… the very foundation of our Republic. These members swore an oath too, and they are violating it.

There must be a DOJ referral for a violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2387, “Activities Affecting Armed Forces Generally.”

This statute criminalizes anyone who “advises, counsels, urges, or in any manner causes or attempts to cause insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of duty by any member of the military or naval forces.”

Direct the DNI to review whether members should retain access to classified briefings.

NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.

I think this is a mistake. DOGE should never be shut down. It should exist forever to hold everyone in government accountable for waste/fraud/abuse. The job is certainly not yet finished and we need someone as aggressive as @elonmusk leading it.

🚨URGENT: American truck driver sounds the alarm that some foreign drivers who were put out of service for failing required English-proficiency standards are getting back on the road with invalid CDL licenses.

Two days ago, her truck was hit by a foreign driver who then tried to flee the scene. She called police and followed him, making it clear he wasn’t going to escape.

When she confronted him, she discovered he relied entirely on a translation app to communicate. After digging further, she learned that just a month earlier, this same driver had been placed out of service for failing the English-proficiency test required to maintain his CDL.

Obviously, simply suspending CDL licenses isn’t enough to keep our roads safe. The @FMCSA needs to start fining and even shutting down trucking companies that allow foreign drivers who failed required standards to continue operating and transporting cargo.
