Today at midnight I had to say goodbye to my absolute best friend in the world.
I can’t put in to words the joy this animal brought into my life and all he did for me without even knowing it.
Love you Jasper, glad you’re in a better place now. I’m really gonna miss you
Destiny 2 was not a failure.
Destiny is—was—by all measures, one of the most resounding successes in its field, and its end is a consequence of its management, not the game itself, nor the team and community that propped it up time and time again, or the vision that fueled it.
Destiny was a pioneer of the live-service formula. It was one of the earliest games of the 2010s to try to deliver constant goods, whether they took the form of missions, new loot rewards, or skins, to a console audience.

I still remember the childhood days when 31°C meant you've reached peak summer temperatures and it will slowly start to drop over the next few weeks.
Now we're basically living in a steam cooker for 3ish months
I see a lot of people signing a petition for D3, but If you want a Destiny 3, log on June 9th and play the fuck out of Monument of Triumph.
I can assure you that whatever numbers that update pulls will be looked at very closely.
Make the Destiny franchise undeniable.
At its best, content was a machine to create memories and friendships. No new content stings.
This pain is about losing a place where so many memories were made. It stings not because of what it was, but the realization of what it won't be.
