Elon Musk: "If somebody executes well, I'm a huge fan, and if they don't, I'm not.
I generally think it's a good idea to hire for talent, and drive, and trustworthiness. And I think goodness of heart is important—I undervalued that at one point.
So, are they a good person, trustworthy, and smart, talented, and hardworking. If so, you can add domain knowledge. But those fundamental traits, those fundamental properties, you cannot change."
Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.” John 4:34
For strength I eat divine purpose.
This food is still available.
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
whose trust is the Lord.
He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7–8
Trust taps the springs of life in a drought of death.
The ability to heal is proof Life is Intelligently designed.
Think about this.
Without the ability to heal, the smallest injury would be devastating, even for the simplest single celled organism.
A single cell that could not heal itself would not live long enough to evolve anything.
Healing is a complex process that requires additional systems of specialized molecules and genetic information: sensors, triggers, guidance, regulation, etc.
Without the whole system in place and fully functional, one tiny scratch becomes deadly.
There is no step-by-step “almost healing” system that evolution & natural selection can build gradually.
Healing only happens when all the parts are there working together.
Cellular healing is a complex integrated system that had to be present in full from the start - not something that could have been assembled later by trial and error.
The necessity and the complexity of the healing system points to a single known cause:
Life was Divinely Designed.
“You ought to say, ‘If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.’ Otherwise, you boast in arrogance.” James 4:15–16
Pervasive (live or die), meticulous (“this or that”) Providence is a call to humility.
Trees glow during thunderstorms.
A recent study of tree leaves has revealed what scientists have long suspected but have never been able to observe: The tips of tree leaves shimmer as a thunderstorm passes overhead. This “glow” is called the corona and is caused by a weak electrical discharge. It’s invisible to the naked eye, but technology has allowed researchers to observe and document the phenomena. And this glow is actually really important.
As the corona is discharged, it releases hydroxyl radicals, which clean the air, removing pollutants. It’s such a powerful cleaning force that it’s known as “nature’s detergent.” This whole process is just another example of how our Creator God has lovingly provided for the needs of His creation.
God’s creation is truly amazing, and every discovery of the things He’s made brings glory to Him.
“Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
Let the sea roar, as well as its fullness;
Let the field exult, and all that is in it.
Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy
Before Yahweh, for He is coming,
For He is coming to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
And the peoples in His faithfulness” (Psalm 96:11–13).
“Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain
is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked.” Proverbs 25:26
Quietly immovable in conviction and design.
“Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” Isaiah 26:4
A rock, not the quicksands of chaos and uncertainty.
A rock, not the riptides of lust and greed.
A rock, not the flood-prone foundations of failed obedience.
“No creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:13
Knowing what he knows of the secrets of 8 billion hearts, he makes the sun rise.
“Do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. But the Lord of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. And he will become a sanctuary.” Isaiah 8:12–14
Make the Lord your dread, and you will be safe from all dreaded dangers.
One Fear casts out all others.
Tremble here, and you need tremble nowhere else.
We usually think love = making life easier.
Jesus defines it differently.
Real love gives us what we need most — not just healing, comfort, or an easier life, but God himself.
And we can show that love to others by leading them to see and treasure the glory of Christ, because that’s where real joy is found.
That kind of love changes everything.

“Stop regarding man
in whose nostrils is breath,
for of what account is he?” Isaiah 2:22
Regard God.
Take him into account with every human transaction.
A cell can't arise via evolution.
It doesn't work unless it has a minimal set of parts, coordination, and information (DNA).
This is a designed system.
@TheAliceSmith I read the Declaration of Independence out loud today with heartfelt conviction.
It is a work not just of genius, but also of a purity of soul that resonates to this very day.
