David Stearns just emphasized the run prevention problem.

Since June 13, the #Mets starters’ ERA was 5.27 with a FIP of 4.31.

That's almost a full run difference there. That doesn't excuse the poor pitching, but it most definitely contributed to it.

-any poor defender on this team very well could be gone.
-Mr Alonso needs to come with terms he is a DH, especially if he wants to come back.

-He took accountability & took blame off Mendoza
