@o_bourge Yes! This is the type of information children should be taught when it comes to knowing how to be cautious on a platform that is relevant in their lives
The majority of the media we encounter today is not produced for society to look at
They are designed to elicit reactions from those who view it

@MassCarozzaEDUC 100% agree with this! Children are being raised in a society where using the internet is prominent, so knowing how to behave online is crucial
@cravebravewaves Understanding how to think critically about online information is so important for everyone, not just children, since information can easily be changed to support a specific viewpoint
@ashleyberdowski Unedited clips are a great way for people to see firsthand perspectives that aren’t twisted to fit into what the media wants to portray
@julia_parrillo Digital etiquette is a vital concept to understand in today’s society! We teach children to be polite when in face-to-face interactions, so why not teach politeness in terms of online interactions?
Raw, unedited videos I find definitely convey a stronger message than when the video has a narration with it. Not having a narrator allows the viewer to immerse themselves into the video and deduce their own opinions.

Social media can be super beneficial in communicating a message about an issue to other parts of the world where the information is not one of the top news stories #lesson12
@kayla_greenough Completely agree! A parent can explain concepts to their children that they may be confused about or that could influence them sebconsciously
