LIV Golf players and staff have been sent an email by CEO Scott O’Neil today with the following updates:

“On the investor front, I remain encouraged by ongoing discussions with potential investors, and we continue to work diligently toward an investment that supports LIV 2.0. I don't have a major milestone to share today, but the process is moving with strong momentum, and we are laser-focused on reaching the finish line. These are complex discussions that take time. We need to move efficiently, but with just as much care and precision.”

It goes on to say:

“That said, we've also begun the work of planning responsibly for 2027. That means building a competitive calendar around our highest-priority markets, developing a more sustainable event and operating model, prioritizing the commercial opportunities with the greatest potential to drive long-term value, and continuing to deliver a premium experience for our players, partners, and fans. Leaders across the business are already at the table on this, and you'll see them pull your teams in as this work continues. We expect to share details more broadly by late August.

“In the meantime, let's continue to stay focused on delivering at Bedminster next week and planning for the Individual and Team Championships as we complete a successful 2026 season.”
