@HorrorPaperback I enjoyed this but felt the deaths were derivative of what happened previously, but maybe that was the point. I still can’t figure out what the hell that epilogue meant! Confusing AF.

@Chucky101_blood It was a mixed bag. I thought the biggest negative was his personal struggle/crisis had no weight. Cast was good but everyone felt bland. The training sequence on OA was well done.

@MikalJoseph1980 I always enjoyed Empire of the Ants more than Food of the Gods. I liked the cast more, had an unexpected left turn/plot twist, and had a bit of comeuppance for some characters.

@HorrorPaperback All great films. Humaoids is such a comfort movie for me. One of the few creature features before slashers dominated. Underwater has the best ending.

@TuskTreasures True film criticism is a type of journalism. If you read a particular critic regularly, you learned what appealed to them. Ebert is a prime example. I could tell whether I would like a film based on his reviews whether he liked it or not.
