I didn’t start as a BUILDER

I started as a FAN.

Back in 2022, during the Axie days, I was following a content creator I really looked up to. It wasn’t just about crypto he also talked about self-improvement, discipline, and personal growth.

What made it even more inspiring was his story.
He went through serious struggles, even health challenges, but still chose to keep pushing, building, and improving himself.

That hit me differently.
At that time, I wasn’t building anything yet.
I was just watching, learning, and supporting from the sidelines.

But deep inside, I had ideas.

I wanted to build a community trading, P2E, signals, everything in one place. But I never took action. I would just share those ideas with close friends… and that was it.
Fast forward to 2023, I finally met him in Cebu.
I got a photo with him, and honestly, that already felt like a win.

From that moment, whenever he came to Cebu, I made sure to show up events, meetups, anything. Still a fan. Still learning.

Then January 2025 happened.

He messaged me about a Bitget afterparty in Cebu. I didn’t hesitate. At that time, I had just finished a project, I didn’t have a job yet, and I was just a Web3 moderator trying to figure things out.
But I showed up.

And that one dinner changed everything.

The Bitget team didn’t treat me like “just another attendee.” They welcomed me, talked to me, and encouraged me to build something in Cebu. They told me they would support me.

That moment hit hard.

Because back in 2022, I already had that dream…
but I didn’t have the support system.

So that night, I made a decision:

I’m going all in.

I built The Ascent a trading community focused on real learning, from beginners to more experienced traders. No hype, just growth.

Today:
• 2,000+ members
• 50–100 participants every event
• Real-life meetups and a growing community

And Bitget? They’ve been there since day one supporting every step.

But it didn’t stop there.

Because I showed up that night:

✈️ I rode a plane for the first time
🌏 I traveled internationally for the first time Singapore
🤝 I met people I used to only watch online

From being a fan.
to becoming a builder.
From watching someone inspire me.
to building something that can inspire others too.
I started with nothing. No name. No audience.
Just someone trying to learn and improve.

And now I’m just getting started.
