🧘 A Unique Blend of Yoga, Cleanliness, and Environmental Responsibility

The District-Level International Day of Yoga celebration in Gurugram carried a powerful message beyond health and wellness—promoting cleanliness and environmental conservation.

A special initiative by Ethan Sports Company encouraged participants to responsibly dispose of plastic water bottles, tetra packs, and other packaging waste in designated collection bins set up at the venue.

Under the leadership of Ethan Sports CEO @rbravi, participants enthusiastically joined the drive. Those who collected and deposited plastic bottles and other waste materials at the designated points were rewarded with attractive caps as a token of appreciation.

This innovative effort not only inspired cleanliness but also reinforced the importance of collective responsibility towards environmental protection and effective waste management.

🧘‍♀️ 12th International Day of Yoga Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm in Gurugram

Under the themes “Yoga for Healthy Ageing” and “Yoga-Yukt, Nasha-Mukt Haryana,” the District Administration Gurugram and AYUSH Department successfully organized the district-level International Day of Yoga programme at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-38.

Haryana’s Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Empowerment & Entrepreneurship and Sports, Shri @GauravgGautam inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp and called upon citizens, especially the youth, to adopt yoga as a way of life and contribute towards building a healthy, aware, and drug-free Haryana.

Thousands of participants, including public representatives, officers, employees, students, social organizations, and citizens, performed yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation under the guidance of trained instructors. Participants also watched the live telecast of the national programme led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the state-level programme from Panchkula led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Gaurav Gautam said that yoga is India's invaluable gift to the world and a scientific path towards physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. He emphasized that a healthy society is the foundation of a strong and developed nation.

The Minister also highlighted the vision of “Yoga-Yukt Haryana, Nasha-Mukt Haryana” and urged everyone to stay away from substance abuse, embrace yoga, and actively participate in environmental conservation through initiatives like “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.”

Let us pledge to make yoga a daily habit, protect our environment, and work together for a healthier, stronger, and drug-free Haryana.
