@SCPDanny_ Couldn’t be my GOAT

[Ryan Brito @rbrito93]

@clearrivergames Will the physical copies be available elsewhere as well? Or from your store? Asking for us Canadians🇨🇦

[Ryan Brito @rbrito93]

@dgkzt18961885 For you to tell me the same thing my tracking is telling me I’d rather not.

[Ryan Brito @rbrito93]

@BestBuyCanada you guys really have to do better with pre-orders. If I preordered something in July that’s releasing on September 15th. I should have that item on release day.

“Hideo Kojima games don’t sell”🚀

✅Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid franchise sold over 66.4 million copies

✅For reference, that is as much as or more than God of War franchise

✅That’s also more than Uncharted series (~47m), Ratchet & Clank (~$40m), Horizon (+$38m), and The Last of Us (+$37m)

✅PHYSINT was going to be an action espionage title driven by fans requests to Kojima to make a Metal Gear successor

✅Death Stranding was never going to be a mega seller, and it was always an experimental game, so to measure the potential performance of PHYSINT with Death Stranding would be highly misguided

✅Sony greenlit a sequel of Death Stranding with an even higher budget than the first, if they weren’t happy with it, they wouldn’t have agreed to it

👎Sony now proceeded to hand the closest thing to a Metal Gear spiritual successor on a golden platter to XBOX, their main competitor.

👎That is probably because they wasted $4.7B on a worthless exhibition of Bungie whose game Marathon sold only 1.2-1.5m (less than Death Stranding 2)

👎Plus, a reported $400 on Concord which shut down in less than 2 weeks, plus hundreds of millions on Jim Ryan’s plan to launch 12 live service titles by 2026, none of which happened other than HELLDIVERS.

🥁You don’t bring in Hideo Kojima ‘just’ for sale, you collaborate with him because he is:

1️⃣Status, honor and prestige
2️⃣Magnet for worldwide recognition
3️⃣Hollywood standards of production
4️⃣Prestigious awards
5️⃣Breaking new grounds and create new genres and unique ideas

So thank you Asha Sharma for recognizing all this and supporting Hideo Kojima and his one-of-a-kind vision, and shame on you Sony for giving players another reason to resent your leadership🫡

@thundrea_ Despite the reviews I’m still excited for it. I absolutely love Wolverine.

[Ryan Brito @rbrito93]

@VideoGamesPlus_ @asha_shar It will be literally impossible as Sony owns the patent for blurays. If they aren’t going to be making games on them I doubt they’ll let Xbox. Which sadly sucks.

[Domino's Pizza UK @Dominos_UK]

PlayStation thought the game was called physical and had to back out

[Ryan Brito @rbrito93]

@Genki_JPN What the hell did they do to Tidus
