I hereby like to coin the term "Framework Imperialism". This can be used to describe the phenomenon that a framework takes something that's free (in the sense of independent, as well as created and maintained pro bono), and claims it as its own.

Someone asked me to look at a professional solutions for GDPR compliance. First thing the company web site did was write a cookie with an id like: "YWZJMm1DQ1JBTTVDa3NcHhQMVF3a1JhCZnBWM1YN2x3="... is it just me or....?

Something that's surprised me since I've had this #Librem5 is the rapid progress. Each week brings at least one big improvement. Case in point, yesterday's kernel update (hits main repos in a few days) made a noticeable change in the phone's heat and touchscreen performance.
