SAR responded to Ripple Creek for a positive outcome in a SAR call on the 19th. A 78 YOM with Dementia walked away from his hunting camp w/out any shoes, hunting rifle or provisions. SAR responded, along w/a SAR dog & Classic Lifeguard heli to fly & locate. Male was found safe.

Jordan Fire As of 9:00 am today there was little fire growth.
Today, Fire crews continue to work to contain the fire. High winds are expected again today. We are advising nearby residents to maintain a pre-evacuation status, no evacuations have been ordered.

RBC was advised of a fire in the County Road 7 area between mile markers 5 and 7. Crews from BLM, Meeker Fire Department and several Rio Blanco Deputies have responded.The fire is approximately 100 acres and is moving North.
Several reports of large rocks in the roadways in our county this morning. Crews are out trying to get them off the road.
As of now there are large boulders on Hwy 139 at milemarker 37 and also a large boulder on County Road 5, Piceance Creek between milemarker 9 and 10.

Terra Energy will be moving their H&P 271 rig over the next couple days and will be traveling down Piceance Creek, headed south from the MTW road (mm20) to Hwy 13 and on to Grand Junction.
Be aware of these heavy loads & give them plenty of distance as they cannot stop quickly.
