☕ RB’s Morning Take
I don’t think Manchester United need a new left back this summer.
Luke Shaw should start. Dorgu can cover for Luke Shaw. Amass is improving game by game. Mazraoui can also play there.
If injuries hit, we can revisit it in January.

☕ RB's Morning Take
If Real Madrid sign Rodri, I can see Tchouameni or Camavinga or even both leaving.
Manchester United shouldn't sign a midfielder just because one is available.
Only sign players who want to play for the BADGE, not for the MONEY.

I hope Mason Mount can stay fit for the full season.
He is building a good partnership with Andrey Santos as well.
Hopefully he can stay fit because, with us being in four competitions, we may need him at some point during the season.
Mason Mount on wearing #mufc’s armband yesterday:
"I think I'm definitely a leader. I mean, you have different types of leaders. You have ones that are very vocal.
"I want to always see myself as one that leads by example and never stops working on the pitch. I've been captain previously, years ago, so I love the role.
"Especially with a lot of younger players on the pitch, being able to speak to them and make them feel comfortable in the game and even off the pitch as well.
"It's a role that I really like, and I loved having it in the second half." [@StevenRailston]
@AdamJoseph What I really like about David Ornstein is that he doesn’t hype things up just for clicks. If he has reliable information, he shares it properly and gives credit where it’s due.
That’s rare these days, and it’s why Ornstein is a class act.
@UnitedStandMUFC I genuinely don't understand how this would work. Aurelien Tchouameni would surely demand higher wages, and Manchester United haven't been willing to do that. Or are they willing to change their stance for him? 🤔
Another loan for Sekou Kone is the right decision.
We saw his talent in pre season. He needs regular football, and he won't get that at Manchester United right now.
Lausanne Sport is the perfect move. Hope he stays fit and has a great season.
Do you Agree?
All these journalists are confusing Manchester United fans with so many different updates about the third midfielder.
I'm just going to wait until someone is holding the shirt.
RB's Full Time Take
FULL TIME: Rosenborg 0-5 Manchester United
A dominant performance from Manchester United. We started slowly, but as the game went on we found our rhythm, took control, and never looked back. Five goals, a clean sheet, and every player who came on made an impact.
• Joshua Zirkzee continues to look at his best as a false nine or No. 10. His solo goal was outstanding, showing composure, movement, and quality. The only question is whether he can maintain that level consistently and stay fit over a long season.
• Mason Mount and Andrey Santos already look like a natural partnership after just two games. They look composed, complement each other well, and could become a valuable option for Michael Carrick when Youri Tielemans and Kobbie Mainoo need to be managed.
• Shea Lacey continues to improve with every game. He took his goal brilliantly and is growing in confidence. With four competitions next season, he looks ready to become a real weapon off the bench.
• Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu worked tirelessly throughout the game. Their movement and positioning were excellent, and on another day both would have found the scoresheet.
• Leny Yoro impressed again at right back. He looked comfortable on the ball, positive going forward, and if everyone is fit, I would genuinely consider him ahead of Diogo Dalot in that role.
• The young players who came on were excellent, especially Harry Amass, Jaydan Kamason, and Chido Obi. Amass got his goal, Kamason was heavily involved in the later goals, and Obi looked much better on the ball than he did last season. This young Manchester United group is genuinely exciting.
Overall, this was exactly the kind of controlled and one sided performance you would want to see from Manchester United in their second preseason game.
Who was your standout player today?
IT'S FIVEEEEE!
What a run from Jaydan Kamason! That's his second assist of the game, and he's looked so good every time he's been on the ball.
I'm really impressed with him.
