@mrmarkmillar And also some little-known original Alan Moore Superman stories. I’ve read before that he only wrote three Superman stories - Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?, For the Man Who Has Everything and the DC Comics Presents one - yet there’s at least two prose stories here
@mrmarkmillar That’s one of those amazing covers that I constructed a whole narrative around in my head because it was advertised in the back of an annual but I couldn’t get a hold of it as a kid. One of the first I tracked down when I got some part-time cash.
@mrmarkmillar Jim Steranko, John Byrne, Jerry Ordway, Roy Thomas, Barry Windsor-Smith, Walt Simonson, Chris Claremont, Jim Shooter, John Wagner, Bryan Talbot, Todd McFarlane, Jim Lee, Dan Jurgens, Dave Gibbons, Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross.
@mrmarkmillar My ticket for the Batman Retrons event AKA put on in the Tron Theatre to tie in with the second Burton movie, with Alan Grant, Cam Kennedy and Bryan Talbot.
@mrmarkmillar McShane is the greatest raconteur ever. The only way I could look forward to this episode more would be if you filmed it in a pub. Loved the Virginia Galleries. First went into AKA when I was in Marks with my mum aged about 11 and snuck out the side door when she wasn’t looking
@mrmarkmillar Ha there was a few I couldn’t name in the 70s. The fun now is trying to work out where all the art was lifted from! I don’t recall ever seeing it reprinted in the US, not sure where it would appear, possibly something like FOOM, but I’ve no idea.
