Notable increase from 68% in 2021 to 74% in 2023, highlighting a growing issue in the gaming community.

🚫 Common Forms of Toxic Behavior:

Cheating (30%), deliberate disruption (29%), hatred towards fellow players (28%), and more negatively impact gameplay and player experiences.

🎮 Toxicity Varies by Genre:

Shooter and Battle Royale games are more susceptible to toxic behavior. In contrast, adventure, strategy, and card games are associated with a less toxic player base.

🤝 Player Reactions & Developer Concerns:

Players are taking a stand, with 96% actively addressing toxic behavior by blocking, leaving, and reporting toxic users, marking a significant increase from 2021.

👥 Consequences for Gamers:
