Much interest in this canine at work. Two federal law enforcement officials tell me that working dog did not provide an "alert" signal to the handler. That specific canine is trained for explosives detection not ammunition since it's always around armed law enforcement. It's trained to move into open doors/spaces to check air flow for minute particles of explosives. The USSS officer has been interviewed by investigators.
“The next president must say on day one: We’re tearing down this arch; we’re razing Trump’s ballroom…Washington ceremonial architecture must be returned to the purpose for which it exists—to promote democracy, not the demented ego of one sick man.”

Not the same scale, of course, but Vietnam flashbacks here. We're escalating (without a strategy) to allegedly put more pressure on the enemy. And "we're closing the Strait in order to open it" has real "we're destroying the village to save it" vibes.

Trump is now attacking the Pope for speaking out against war while posting images of himself as a messianic figure.
This is not only offensive. It is deranged, egomaniacal behavior.
When will Republicans in Congress stop blindly following this dangerous and unhinged man?
Angry, disgusted General Eisenhower during liberation of Buchenwald, today 1945--ordered that evidence of the Nazi atrocities be photographed to avoid their being doubted by later generations:
Negotiations always reflect realities on the ground, so US efforts to impose peace terms on Iran were destined to fail. that said, the 1st round of talks always have a throat clearing quality, so chances of a breakthrough were negligible. the diplomatic dance is just beginning.
This boy jumped for joy welcoming the pope in Lebanon in November and today they pulled his body from the rubble after Israel’s bombing.
Last year, only 5 members of Congress voted with me when I tried to defund Israel, who bombs and kills the innocent.
Iranian dictators couldn't attack Israel and the US effectively, so they attacked and punished other countries to increase their leverage as a way to end the war. Aren't we now doing the same thing by closing Hormuz? Or am I not understanding something about the strategy? It's not only Iran that will be impacted by our blockade.
Trump, presumably stressed by his buddy Orban’s impending loss, announces that in order to reopen the Strait of Hormuz he’s…ordering a blockade of the Strait.
A naval blockade is another act of war. Where is Congress? Only Congress has the power to declare war.
Sadly, only the midterms will make Congress do its job and the fact that Congress is essentially dead right now has already had severe consequences for America and the world.
"The arch is what happens when a powerful and insecure man looks at hallowed ground and sees another opportunity for a monument to himself. The fallen buried at Arlington deserve better than to spend eternity in the shadow of someone else’s ambition."

"I couldn't care less what Trump thinks about me. He's the living personification of what the 25th Amendment and impeachment were for. If Congress had any guts, he'd be consigned to the trash heap of history!"

Do you agree with Springsteen?
God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.
We fought and lost a war in Iran so that both the Iranians and the Russians could make far more money from oil—the Iranians from tolls, the Russians from higher prices and the end of sanctions. That isn’t just strategic defeat; it’s self-destructive foolishness at a level unknown to military history.
