Yesterday evening, the Gibraltar Ambulance Service attended the emergency job fair held at the Fire Station car park. A number of tools and vehicles we use on a daily basis were on display at the fair.
This evening, medical personnel from the Gibraltar Ambulance Service began their shift by responding to an emergency call from a Police Officer, who was experiencing internal pains while suffering in a cardiac arrest.
Sadly, the officer was later declared deceased by a Doctor.
Yesterday, a handful of Paramedics represented the Gibraltar Ambulance Service to the Price of Wales on his royal visit to Gibraltar. Our paramedics were able to demonstrate our tools and explain our day-to-day operations.
Earlier this evening, our emergency crews responded to a construction site following reports of a building fire. In conjunction with the Gibraltar Fire & Rescue Service, we provided life-saving medical treatment to the victim, who was later transported to a nearby hospital.
Yesterday evening, the Chief Ambulance Officer hosted a successful shift with outstanding attendance. Our crews responded to multiple emergency calls across Gibraltar, with our Paramedics and Doctors providing life-saving treatment throughout the night.
