@TomahawkClaw@Super70sSports Yes..it was more interesting to watch. The racquets were just starting to change from wood to using graphite etc. You couldn't really hit a winner off your back foot like today or hit the ball with both feet leaving the ground. Women were great to watch-strategy over brawn.
@AccidentalZen@ajtorres1230 Yes..I thought it was illegal but I'm no rules expert. I guess we are going back to the rugby roots! Until some QB gets hurt doing it I suppose. Then all bets are off.
@jimmyjacktoth Jerry Lee singing country is just so gorgeous. Agree with your post. I read a lot of critics before listening to jazz, for instance, and it put me off stuff I now like. Like CTI and "Body Talk" with George Benson.
@chrishawtree RIP...she was a great beauty. I remember her in a few westerns. (Hannie Caulder and 100 Rifles) I liked her public persona - a tongue in cheek approach for the most part.
@chrishawtree https://t.co/lYdlgl9sYB Yes. Nor was it properly studied and documented. I'm open to the idea but a proper, long term study with published and peer reviewed results would be nice.
@AccidentalZen Moving pieces around..keeping everyone involved and ready to contribute..a master plan with variations when needed. That 2nd half by the Chiefs was masterful on offense. Wide the f___ open plays the Steelers can only dream about. Sigh
@chrishawtree Those songs burrow their way into your mind and eventually heart. I've been reading about his tempo changes in song and his brilliance with melody. All true, but there's an optimism in his work that always moved me. RIP.
