'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure STEEL BALL RUN' Director Yasuhiro Kimura
"The entire [voice] cast read the original manga thoroughly, so I had very little need to give detailed instructions. [They] were excellent from the start. That’s the kind of talent we selected during auditions."
Aya's #conceptart with back view. Kimono she wears is leather which provides a bit more modern feel. Storywise she's connected to the fate of Japan in the Roa universe as well as Shiori's story loosely. Her last name is important but will be hidden till the time is right...
You might notice this claw on her other hand? This gets some more practical use in her actual story. It's something of a grappling device connected with chains. #conceptart
Aya's front facing portrait. One thing I think stands out about her are her eyes. I wanted her to have a rather unique eye color and was thinking what colors I hadn't used yet. So I went with pink.🩷 #conceptart
Glad people liked Aya! Here is her original design back in 2021 VS her current one. Some people who have been here awhile might recognize her traits from the polls back when Meilin Huun Gou was first shown. She was one of the three possible reveals.
Most people know Yasuomi Umetsu for his anime like Kite, Mezzo Forte and the recently released (and great) Virgin Punk. But did you know he also worked on video games? Here's some of his work in that field, Carrie from Castlevania 64 and the cover of Contra Hard Corps.
Rumiko Takahashi (creator of Ranma ½/ Usurei Yatsura/ Inuyasha) on AI:
"AI learns from the past and creates data, but manga doesn't repeat what has been drawn in the past, but rather is a process of constantly thinking up new ideas. It may be that the directions are different."
Wala lang giyud ku nisunud kay di lang talawan, brown-out pa giyud kay gipawng tungud aning bagyung si #Tino.
🇺🇸I didn't reference not only because I was a scaredy-cat, there was a blackout because of this typhoon guy named Tino.
