The Governor and Senior Deputy Governor are appointed by the Bank's Board of Directors, not by the federal government.

He had Trudeau’s ear since Covid and has pushed Trudeau for higher taxes since. It wasn’t “just last year”

How about this for building a “Team Canada 🇨🇦” approach?

1. Stop threatening the livelihoods of tens of thousands of Albertans & Canadians via an energy export tax or ban.

2. Immediately start construction on the Northern Gateway & Energy East pipelines to diversify our customer base to Europe, Asia and our own country

3. Tell Germany, Japan and the rest of the world that there is, in fact, a “business case” for Canadian oil and gas to be sold to them

4. Repeal the unconstitutional and job killing production cap, electricity regs and C-69

5. Treat with respect, and as an equal partner, the Alberta taxpayers that have been transferring hundreds of billions to Quebec, the Maritimes and even Ontario, for decades.

Let’s start there on building our “Team Canada” approach shall we?

Notice we are considerably higher than the US also. Socialists need to learn some economics….and then they wouldn’t be socialists

@MBDASweden @RichJBsmith @Roger_Larsson As I referenced above every country which has assessed the F-35 and Gripen E (and have the qualifications, training,+ access to the aircraft’s classified performance) have all picked the 35. And it hasn’t even been close, there is a reason why the E hasn’t been ordered since 2013

That’s more than my “view”, are you saying Finland didn’t assess the E correctly? Maybe you should tell then about it

@Roger_Larsson @RichJBsmith @MBDASweden The F-35 at IOC was a much more capable than fourth gen fighters like the Gripen E. literally every competition has came to the same conclusion. To suggest Gripen can match the F-35 ever is laughable, to suggest it is comparable to a Block 4 F-35 is just ridiculous. 😂

They are finalizing integration on the F-35 and achieve IOC (initial operational capability) next year. Meaning it can used in combat. Finland, Japan, Australia have also ordered it.
