Text: John 3: 14-15

The Israelites annoyed God and He decided to punish them by sending fiery serpents against them, so poisonous their poison was like fire. Numbers 21:4-9
They cried to God and He asked Moses to make a brazen serpent. As they looked up to the serpent, they were healed.
The serpent wasn't God. But it was a tool of healing from God.

Just like in the wilderness, Jesus said to look to Him, and all Who look to Him will not perish but have eternal life.

February 2026 Holy Communion Service

Text: 1 Kings 21: 16-20

There was a time when Elijah was hiding from Ahab. 1 Kings 17:1-4
It's a terrible thing to be a hunted person.
It's a terrible thing to be running for your life.

Even after the victory on Mount Carmel, Elijah still had to hide from Jezebel. 1 Kings 19:1-4

It's a terrible thing to have great talent but to have to hide because of enemies.

Elijah was under house arrest because enemies were everywhere.

But by the time Elijah's new beginning came, those who had been hunting him, ran away from him when they saw him.
Those who were hunting him became hunted.

The tide turned for Elijah from the moment he ate a meal.

Before then, he had been running from husband (King Ahab) and then from wife (Jezebel) until he became tired and discouraged. 1 Kings 19: 5-8

Your new beginning is now, as you eat the holy communion of tonight.
The tide is about to turn.

Declare concerning yourself;
No more running.
My hunters shall become the hunted.
The glory of God will begin to shine upon me

Salvation Call
This new beginning is for those who belong to the Lord.

If you haven't given your life to Jesus or would like to rededicate your life to Him, ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.

Prayer Points
As you take the bread, pray:
• Father, do a new thing in my body.
Anything called ache or pain, I don't want it anymore.
Please drive out every thing that is not of You in my body.
Let that which is hunting my body be hunted out.

As you take the wine, pray:
▪︎ Father in the mighty name of Jesus, from this moment onward, all the forces that have been slowing down my destiny, let them be scattered.
