A big question from @SAlexander_UTS @UTSEngage is: who pays for micro-creds? @Eduspokesperson's Dom English notes that increased public funding often comes with increased regulation, which might not be what micro-creds need.

"It's really about opening up access, but there are also hurdles [and opportunities]" says Darien Rossiter - we need to think about format, accreditation, flexibility. We may lose something if micro-creds are seen solely as shorter forms of award quals.

Stereotyping 101. This week I was confronted by someone comparing my lighter complexion to what they thought an Aboriginal person should look like "(you don't have) dark skin or a big nose". It's 2022, these comments shouldn't be happening. Ignorance is not an excuse.
