Hundreds of public cars and other vehicles were there in the area near Jantar Mantar on 20th July 2026. Some were parked, and some were moving.

Lakhs of students were running and hiding between these cars when the police and CRPF were assaulting them brutally, but except for two police cars, we saw no damage to any car.

There was hardly any damage to public property, even when the protesters were in the most commercially expensive area of India.

This tells you the peaceful nature of the protest and, at the same time, the lies the media, the BJP IT cell, and the Modi government are spreading against the students of India.

7. Rising cost of living.

8. Lynching and everyday violence against minorities.

🚨EVEN IF The Parliament was to be secured - why were water cannons not deployed? The march was announced well in advance. Everyone knew about it. Does the capital city of the largest (alleged) democracy not have basic crowd control protocol?
🚨Either corruption & hubris rendered water cannons inoperable .... Or the intention was not to 'push back' - but to 'punish hard' - just like Genral Dyer's action at Jallianwala.

Delhi Police on truck seen near Jantar Mantar on July 20 ahead of Students’ protest:

“It is clarified that claims alleging that Truck No. HR63 E 6865 was deliberately deployed by Delhi Police near Jantar Mantar or outside any political party office are false and misleading.

The truck was seized in FIR No. 65/2026 on *16.07.2026* in connection with a road traffic accident involving the truck and an EECO van, in which six persons were injured earlier that day.

The seized vehicle was initially parked near PS Parliament Street for safe custody due to space constraints. Considering the law and order arrangements for the "Chalo Sansad" movement, it was later emptied and shifted to a safer place in the early hours of 20.07.2026, after due instructions to the owner.

Any claim linking the vehicle to a conspiracy against protesters is completely baseless.

Citizens are advised not to circulate unverified information and to rely only on official sources.”
