i have a much more positive outlook. I have learned its value and place in education. I used to prefer handouts and paper for everything. I now have converted (mostly) to using technology and using all of its advantages! #edtechchat #gccedu

Q1: seven years ago i was in high school so im sure my perspective as an educator has changed now. in high school i found the computer labs really annoying and not a productive space. Laptops are so much nicer now #edtechchat

@SarahDawson05 Joe Diamond, and Allison Smith lectured about deaf and hard of hearing students today in class. the best way to assist these students is to use lots of visuals and make sure the student can always see you.

Today I learned from @AllisonZeilstra and @ervasti_hanna about Emotional Disorders. The dropout rate for student with these disorders is 60% which is shockingly high! We as educators should work harder to keep these students in school. #gccedu #futureteachersleead #bettertogether

I was blown away by the blatant racism in this article. Racism in the school system needs to stop immediately. All students have the right to education no matter their skin color.
