@kevinrose Yes! I'm very close to doing this now. Not quiet real-time, but it's near real-time. It watches error logs and automatically repairs fatal errors. Still uses version control to easily track what changed.

I hear ya here. I ended up coding up my own harness that watches my email, picks up emails from specific clients, then investigates the issue or implements the request automatically. For context, I'm a software developer. And for example, a client emails me that a certain webpage is getting an error. The agent picks up the email, determines the action needed (read error logs, analysis screenshot). It then connects to the clients server and does the investigation and suggests the fix. The beautiful thing is it's all in a Chat UI I can jump into and help it along, or see what it did.

In this new software era, alot more is possible, it's just not built yet.

I mean, good for Peter. It will be interesting to see what he and OpenAI do. I wouldn't worry about it becoming ClosedClaw. Honestly, I coded a clone of OpenClaw myself in a couple days.. but with an orchestration layer. What could be lost is leadership for the open source project. Time will tell.

@theo I wonder if its the Claude Code harness. I've been using Opus 4.6 planning with Github Copilot. It rarely makes these kind of mistakes. I find Codex 5.3 is not as good in Copilot. I'm starting to think the harness is starting to matter just as much as the model.

Some of the best apps and platforms out there were not created by a highly productive developer or team. They were built by slow and careful consideration of UX and architecture. AI can help you iterate on these ideas quickly, but they cannot replace the nuisance of taste that comes from years of experience. Its the difference between a beautifully crafted piece of furniture and something mass produced.

The onboarding and game generation process is complete. Next up, the actual game plan. That will likely be the easiest to implement.

We had a virus sweep through the house so my secret hacking sessions had been hard to come by. That being said, I have the game generation almost dialed up. Can't wait to show this off
