The U-18 provincials is just around the corner (hosted by the amazing @RCMPCurlingClub) and the Navy representation this year is STRONG. 💪🏻 Even though they’re playing for other clubs, we’re so proud to have so many of our junior program members, alumni and coaches there. 🥳

And just like that, the curling season has snuck up on us. 😶‍🌫️ The first games have been played, the first socializing has been done, and the complaints of sore legs are yet to come!

In light of the rapidly rising cases and uncertainty around the impacts that the Omicron variant will have on our healthcare system, the province of Ontario and Ottawa Public Health have each released new measures that will come into effect on Sunday and Monday, respectively. 1/

All curling at the Navy will be suspended as of 11:59pm on December 17, 2021, and will resume when local and provincial guidance allows.  The board will continue to monitor the situation and will be in touch as further decisions are made. 3/
