Fiat is a closed system, btc is an open system. Gov will do anything possible to keep its system closed. If you comply and manage to connect the open system to the closed one opening it up; new rules will be made.. over and over again
By 2030, society will split into:
Visible Builders
Apps
Brands
Interfaces
Experiences
Invisible Governors
Settlement engines
Verification layers
Liquidity routers
Compliance monitors
AI agent frameworks
The second group will quietly capture the majority of durable power.
The Most Dangerous Illusion of the AI wave is: intelligence equals power.
but no.
Power comes from:
Control of flow, of settlement, of enforcement, of identity
AI enhances whoever owns structure.
Not whoever owns models.
The model is a commodity.
Infrastructure is not.
The machine does not retrieve information, it acts.
This shifts competition from: Who has the best interface?
to:
Whose system is easiest for agents to operate?
APIs become more important than design.
Structured data > branding.
Programmatic trust more important than persuasion.
The AI Native Economy
In 1997, I described the Information Marketplace.
In 2026, we now see the Delegation Marketplace.
Humans no longer search for services.
They assign objectives.
“Find me the best supplier.”
“Negotiate the lease.”
“Reconcile payments.”
“Optimize my portfolio.
3. Platforms
Platform power depended on human friction.
AI reduced that friction.
Gatekeepers weakened.
But something else strengthened:
Infrastructure.
The Human Web Reconfigured
When machines gained agency, three structures destabilized:
1. Interfaces
Websites became optional.
APIs became primary.
Human-visible UI became secondary.
2. Labor
Cognitive work fragmented.
Expertise became callable.
Decision loops compressed.
The Birth of Synthetic Agency
The crucial change was not intelligence.
It was agency.
Machines began to:
Draft contracts
Negotiate prices
Route payments
Optimize logistics
Execute API calls
Maintain memory across tasks
We crossed from tool to proxy.
They began to operate interfaces.
The shift was subtle but profound:
From:
Human → Interface → Database
To:
Human → Language → Machine → Everything
The interface dissolved.
The machine became the interface.
This was not automation.
This was delegation.
The Machine Wave (2022–2026)
When Language Became Infrastructure
Something extraordinary happened around 2022.
Machines stopped needing menus.
They began to understand language.
Large language models didn’t just answer questions.
platform era - scale dominated
AI-native era - structure dominates.
Structure means:
Clear legal boundaries
Enforcement logic
Deterministic state transitions
Audit trails
Machine-readable constraints
Without structure, AI amplifies chaos.
With structure, AI amplifies productivity
if you create a company that owns houses to rent out:
- where only the people living there can be shareholders and only them.
- the company's money cannot be spent on anything other than reinvestment in the neighborhood infrastructure
we will be able to build palaces again.
