As you might guess, I'm retired(ish) and enjoy more time with my wife(1), kids(5), grandkids(5) and pups(3).
I recently upped my engagement on X to share my perspectives on the election from an AZ slant. I volunteered for TrumpForce47 and Kari Lake and knocked on doors and made phone calls, mailed postcards and volunteered at rallies.
I'm a lifelong Republican and I consider myself more of a fiscal conservative (let me keep more of the money I earn please).
I'm a huge fan of tech - Dad worked at NASA during Apollo. I'm a huge Elon Musk and Donald Trump fan - 2 billionaires that can do anything they want but decided to risk their lives to better ours.
I've always tried to find reasons to smile/chuckle/laugh than reasons to be outraged. And I tell terrible jokes and use GIFs way too liberally. And I'm only human, so apologies in advance if my opinions clash with yours.

@UntoldWarFacts My father was stationed in New Guinea at the same time as Saburo. He was shot down multiple times, but made it back to his base.
Saburo's book helped him open up about his time in New Guinea.

And the Sgt York (DIVAD) program could have been the blueprint of that Sgt Bilko Hovertank scene...

@johnkonrad Looked great on paper - sucked when they tried to execute it. Tri-hul jet boat? AWESOME DUDE!!! Then they realized that jet boats suck in stuff from the surface and can easily foul the drive...
I was cheering for these until reality slapped me with costs and scope reduction.

Just watched a Katie Hobbs for Governor commercial where it claims Katie is lowering energy prices. The two main power companies in the Phoenix area are raising prices, the EPA forced destruction of the Navajo's coal plants - how does this lower energy prices?

@johnkonrad Yeah, I suffer from the same issue. I enjoy a single drink at dinner then grind through a hangover the next morning. I'll never worry about alcoholism because the hangover from a single drink is barely manageable. Thanks for the advice!

@kurt13warner Kurt, you were an artist with the snap pass - typically audible plays I'm guessing.
Were there ever times when you stopped and fired a pass earlier in your drop progression (planned 7 step but fired at 3) to hit an opportune target? Other than avoiding a sack?

I think your suggestion about S Korea whipping up a new hull would be faster than a refit on a BB scale.
I'm also hoping the new Arleigh Burks have enough power generation to support the new lasers.
