@pepemari_jm @rodrigo_marciel A otros clubes también les afectó la dictadura. El Sporting de Gijón también tuvo que cambiar su nombre a Deportivo Gijonés que recuperó en 1973 y el Racing de Santander tb lo recuperó tras llamarse Real Santander.
Pero no veo a nadie llamar El Gijonés al Sporting hoy en día…

@pepemari_jm @rodrigo_marciel Al club se le obligó a cambiar su nombre durante la dictadura franquista entre 1941 y 1972 por la prohibición de extranjerismos. En 1972 recuperó su nombre original “Athletic Club” que lo era desde su fundación en 1898.
Desde el 72 al 2025 creo que te ha dado tiempo a aprenderlo.

Quitando la época franquista, en la que se le obligó a llamarse Atlético de Bilbao, tras lo que recuperó su nombre.

@ranxomware @Astiel9 @rodrigo_marciel Es curioso que en los 3 ejemplos que has dado has puesto el nombre del club, no al de la ciudad (quitando al Barça, que ellos mismos como club se llaman así). No has llamado “el Manchester” al City ni “el Munich” al Bayern. No es tan complicado llamar Athletic al Athletic club.
