The week of March 1, 2020 (pre-COVID), educators made 342 child abuse reports to DHS. The week of May 17, 2020 (during virtual learning), educators made 17 child abuse reports to DHS. Looking forward to the most vulnerable students getting back to their safe place . . . school.

Spread the word for Iowans to get their substitute teaching authorization. Classes to obtain the authorization are short and offered through area education agencies (AEAs). You just need to be 20 years old and have an associate's degree or completed 60 hrs of college. #substitute
